Meet the team.
2023 Team
Hope Inglis
“I'm really looking forward to being part of Team Brother UK-Orientation Marketing in 2022. It's going to be great to have teammates around me when I go to races; their support and advice will be a real help in the step up to junior and adult racing. Last year, I enjoyed racing the youth national series, getting my best result on the hilly course of Scarborough, and coming 5th. I also enjoy racing cyclocross in the winter. I find it really fun and a good way to improve my skills.”
My best result in a national trophy is 3rd.
Favourite race: The National Youth Circuit race in Scarborough, due to the big hill. However, as I move up to Juniors, I'm looking forward to racing longer and more varied races.
Favourite food: Bacon! I love bacon, and sometimes have it in a sandwich on my way to races.
What are you most looking forward to in 2022: Racing as a team and riding in bigger races as a junior.
Laura Pittard
“I joined OnForm in 2021 and really enjoyed being able to experience the tour series and national road series with such a supportive team. I came to cycling relatively late, during my time at Cardiff University, and started racing in 2017. Since then, I have had success in local and regional crits, as well as open and national time trials. Outside of training as smart as I can for my 2022 goals, I work full time in the NHS as a Physiotherapist!”
Favourite food: Dark chocolate is definitely up there!
Favourite race: Lincoln GP, the whole weekend was such an amazing atmosphere and doing a closed road time trial with a following car was such a unique experience!
What are you most looking forward to in 2022: I am looking forward to focusing on crit races and time trials in 2022, with a few road races as well. I’m really excited to be part of such a dynamic team and am looking forward to brining together the elements of performance and learning lots along the way!
Amy Harvey
“I’m Amy and I am from London and train in Essex. I’m currently in my first year at the University of Westminster studying Criminology.”
Favourite Race: My favourite race to watch is Paris Roubaix because of the chaos from start to finish. The race requires good skills, physique, and plenty of luck, making it so exciting to watch!
Favourite music to warm up to: Players by Coi Leray
What are you looking forward to most in 2023: I’m most looking forward to learning to work with a team and getting some great team results over the year. I hope to use all the experience I gained last year to do this.
Freya Eccleston
“I am really looking forward to joining On Form for 2022, my first year as a Junior. I have been racing road, cyclocross and time-trialing for 4 years and am really excited for the step up to junior, especially with such a strong team.”
Favourite race: I have loved the 2-day national at Pembrey every year I’ve been.
Favourite food: Avocado on toast
Favourite warm-up tunes: 2000s throwbacks
What are you looking forward to most in 2022? I’m most looking forward to a new scene of racing with longer, harder races on open roads, as well as the experience of riding with a team.
Abi Cooper
“I first started cycling 2 years ago and completed my first season of racing last year as an U23. This will be my second season racing for the team and I am really excited to see what I can do now that I have gained more racing experience. I am currently in my final year of a physiotherapy degree at the University of Birmingham but I am based in Lincolnshire. I prefer hillier road races and I am also looking forward to starting cyclocross next year.”
Favourite race: Lincoln GP
Favourite food: Roast dinner
Favourite warm-up tunes: You can’t beat a bit of Two Door Cinema Club
What are you looking forward to most in 2022: Doing more races at a higher level and racing with my teammates
Ellen Inglis
“This year I’m finishing my study abroad year at the end of May and then going into my final year of uni back in Loughborough in September.”
Favourite race: My favourite race to ride is Guildford crits as there is always a good atmosphere.
Favourite food: Pizza or pasta!
What are you looking forward to most in 2023: For 2023 I’m looking forward to properly starting my season with the team when I’m back in the UK, and hopefully being able to have a season a bit less hampered by illness than in 2022.
Harriet Evans
“I'm really excited to be racing for Team OnForm this year on the road! The team have been really supportive of how new I am to racing and I am looking forward to learning lots from more experienced riders! After loving racing the Team Cup last year, my goals are to do well in this year's Team Cup and get stuck into my first season of National A races! When I’m not riding my bike I am a primary school teacher, teaching Year Two! You’ll often find me writing reports or planning lessons on the way to races!”

Support Team
Mark Botteley Team DS/Manager
“Having been involved in cycling since the mid 80's primarily racing, I moved into more of a coaching role from 2006 with my local cycling club. When the crop of exceptionally talented youth girls I'd been working with were looking for teams to ride with in 2017, I approached Simon Howes who was setting up Team OnForm. After some tooing and froing, Simon asked me to manage the junior section of the team...In 2021, Simon asked me to move up to managing the senior women’s team.”
What are you most looking forward to in 2022: Just racing in general. We have a really young, but exceptionally strong team this year. The team pursuit is a really nice way to get the season off to a start and it helps get through those cold months. Tour series, is always a buzz and totally manic, fingers crossed we can do a bit better than last year, I'd like to think we can get right up amongst them all. In the road and circuit series, I think we’re good enough to get a few top 10's in individual rounds and with a following wind maybe we can get on that top step as Julie Erskine did for us in 2017.
Favourite Race: When I was racing, it was Lincoln GP, but as a team manager it has to be Cicle Classic. I love being on the ground flying around the lanes getting ahead of the race. 3 hours absolutely fly by for sure.
Favourite music to warm up to: When I used to race, I never really warmed up, that’s what the neutralised zone was for!
Favourite Food: I generally eat anything but a really good steak and ale pie does take a bit of beating!
Stephen Vaughan Sports Psychologist
“I’m really excited to be providing sport psychology support to the team. This will help balance well-being and performance needs, working as a group and 1-2-1. As well as cyclists, I have worked with clients in a range of other sports including cricket, snowboarding, running and martial arts. I am currently studying for a Doctorate at Liverpool John Moores University. My research relates to thoughts/thought processes during endurance sport. I live in the Lake District, where I love to ride my bike and am a triathlete racing in the 50+ age group.”
Favourite cycling thing: Riding my bike, it’s my happy place. I don’t really race but like to test myself doing ‘challenges’; last year I did the Lakes & Dales loop in a day (315km, 5k vertical) previously have done LEJOG and Raid Pyrenees.
Favourite food: Pizza, anything with lots of heat, am a big fan of pepperoni and roquito peppers. However, chocolate comes a really close second!
Favourite tunes: I’ll listen to anything, from opera to rock and everything in between. The playlist usually includes lots of pop-punk.
What are you looking forward to most in 2022: Being able to support the team achieve their collective and individual goals and getting to watch lots of bike racing!
